DAVIS — Shirley Ann (Ruffcorn) Clark, 90; born March 18, 1925, Minneapolis, Minn.; died Feb. 28, 2016, Billings, Mont. Surviving: sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Alan and Laura Clark, Montana City, Mont.; Douglas Lee and Teri Knoche, Billings; Daniel Jay and Marilus Clark, Lakewood, Colo.; son, Charles David Clark, Billings; brother and sister-in-law, John and Carol Ruffcorn, Grand Terrace, Calif.; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Shirley Clark Davis passed away peacefully on Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016, while being comforted by her family. She was born March 18, 1925, in Minneapolis, Minn., to John and Agnes Ruffcorn.

Shirley married Wayne Clark in Minnesota in 1948 and moved to Billings in 1954 to open the Clark Lincoln Mercury car dealership. Shirley and wayne happily raised their five children in Billings until Wayne's passing in 1973. Shirley remarried in 1983 to Kenneth Davis in Billings, Mont. He passed away in 2006.

Shirley worked at the clerk and recorders office as a marriage license clerk until retirement. Her signature is on her son Michae'ls marriage license.

Shirley was an active member of the seventh day adventist church her entire life. she attended the  Billings Church since the time it was built, volunteering in the choir for many years. Her son, Chuck, made sure she was ablet o attend up to the week of her passing.

Shirley was fond of knitting and crocheting, donating many expertly made baby booties to the Billings hospital. SHe also enjoyed traveling with her husband to Hawaii, the Caribbean, Washington state, Red Lodge and Minneasota. She took great joy in visiting her brother in California, and taking her kids to Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, and Sea World, and enjoyed traceling the Northwest with her daughter Patti, when Patti was competing in horse shows. She loved family gatherings, especially for holidays. She was also part of the Shriner G.I. Wives.

Shirley was preceded in deathe by her parents John and Agnes Ruffcorn; her husband Wayne A. Clark, and her husband Kenneth Davis; as well as her daughter, Patricia A. Wages.
