Camp Meetings are Here!

It's camp meeting time in the Northwest!

Idaho Conference English and Spanish-language camp meetings wrap up several days of fellowship June 18 on the campus of Gem State Academy in Caldwell, Idaho. Featured speaker for both Idaho events is Jose Rojas.

The Montana Conference Camp Meeting also concludes the weekend of June 18 on the campus of Mount Ellis Academy in Bozeman, Mont. Steve Wohlberg is the main speaker for Friday evening and Sabbath.

Alaska’s Interior Camp Meeting is being held June 17–19 in Fairbanks, Alaska. The main conference camp meeting is scheduled for July 19–23 in Palmer, Alaska. It will be followed by the conference constituency session on July 24. The Alaska Southeast Camp Meeting is scheduled for July 29–31 in Wrangell, Alaska.

The Washington Conference Camp Meeting spans more days than any other Northwest camp meeting, running June 16–25 at Auburn Adventist Academy in Auburn, Wash. Derek Morris is the featured speaker for the first weekend. Shawn Boonstra will be featured for the final Sabbath.

While the Upper Columbia Conference (UCC) Hispanic Camp Meeting wraps up June 18 in Washington’s Tri Cities, the main UCC Camp Meeting is getting set for June 22–25 on the campus of Upper Columbia Academy in Spangle, Wash. John Bradshaw, speaker/director for It Is Written, will be the featured speaker.

The Oregon Conference Camp Meeting runs July 19–23 in Gladstone, Ore., with Mike Tucker speaking for evening sessions and Ron Halvorsen Jr. scheduled on Sabbath. This event is preceded by the Hispanic Camp Meeting at the same location on July 14–16.

The Gleaner is a gathering place with news and inspiration for Seventh-day Adventist members and friends throughout the northwestern United States. It is an important communication channel for the North Pacific Union Conference — the regional church support headquarters for Adventist ministry throughout Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington. The original printed Gleaner was first published in 1906, and has since expanded to a full magazine with a monthly circulation of more than 40,000. Through its extended online and social media presence, the Gleaner also provides valuable content and connections for interested individuals around the world.
