Hundreds of Adventist members and guests from the Pacific Northwest and beyond gathered May 16–19, 2019, in Gladstone, Ore., for the 43rd North Pacific Union Conference (NPUC) Regional Convocation.
Hosted by the Holden Convention Center on the grounds of the Oregon Conference, more than 500 adults, 85 youth and 60 children received a bounty of inspiration in spoken word and music.
Benjamin Jones, South-Central Conference president, provided the Thursday evening keynote and Sabbath divine service messages. Other key presenters included Carmela Monk-Crawford, editor of Message magazine; Randy Maxwell, senior pastor of the Renton (Wash.) Church; Antonia Simons, speaker and recording artist; Adrian Marston, Walla Walla University associate chaplain; and Pedrito Maynard-Reid, Walla Walla University assistant to the president.
Daryl Hunt, Grammy Award-winning producer, combined efforts with Mark Francis and others, including the Orion Chorale, Sharon Church choir and praise team, and the Convocation Mass Choir to bring a wealth of musical talent throughout the weekend.

The 2020 Regional Convocation will be held once again in the Holden Convention Center in Gladstone. Watch for additional details as plans are formed.

EuGene Lewis, a long-time regional leader in the Pacific Northwest, has accepted an invitation from North Pacific Union to serve as its new vice president for regional affairs, beginning January 2025. He steps into this role following the dedicated service of Byron Dulan, who recently retired.
