Idaho Conference 2020 Camp Meeting Going Virtual

By Eve Rusk, April 28, 2020

This year, we had a camp meeting theme illustration contest among our youth. We asked them to graphically illustrate “Longing for Home!” Six students participated in sending seven entries. First place went to Sierra Davis, senior at Gem State Adventist Academy. She also took third place. Second place went to Ivy Baltazar, GSAA freshman. Prizes were awarded: $50 for first place, $25 for second place and $15 for third place.

Idaho Conference Camp Meeting is moving to a digital/virtual format!

You will be able to watch Hyveth Williams, Andrews University Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary professor of homiletics and Doctor of Ministry program director, as she shares each evening and Sabbath morning. Sing along during song service. Hear stories of how God has led in lives impacted by evangelism. Join your heart in prayer with all who are watching. Be blessed and inspired as Williams speaks the words God gives to her.

Yes, it will be different. There will be things we miss: reconnecting with old friends, making new ones, finding the perfect book at the ABC, listening to other inspiring speakers. We’ll just have to use our newly developed digital skills to connect, if you haven’t already.

Plans will be shared for the Spanish language camp meeting when they are ready.

As the details come together, we will share information on how to join us for 2020 Idaho Conference Camp Meeting — "Longing for Home!" Please watch the Idaho Conference website https://IdahoAdventist.org and Facebook page @IdahoCampMeeting for updates.
