FOWLER — Judy M., 76; born Feb. 17, 1943, Kelson, Washington; died Aug. 26, 2019, Missoula, Montana. Surviving: brother and sister-in-law, James D. Fowler and Jane Peters, Corvallis, Montana; sisters, M. Joanne Jones, Corvallis; Billie Jean Fowler Ferster, Leduc, Alberta, Canada; and sisters/friends, Ellen and Wanda Green, Corvallis.

Judy M. Fowler, 76, of Corvallis passed away Aug. 26, 2019 at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana. Judy was born Feb. 17, 1943 in Kelso, Washington to the late David W. and Mildred C. Wend Fowler.

She was educated at Upper Columbia Academy in Spokane, Washington. She attended Pacific Union College in St. Helena, California earning her nursing degree on July 31, 1968. She went on to earn her Master's in Nursing from Walla Walla College in Portland, Oregon.

Judy spent her entire career in Medicine. She worked at Monument Valley Mission and Hospital in Monument Valley, Utah; La Vida Mission – Boys Dean in Farmington, New Mexico; Tillamook Hospital Emergency Room in Tillamook, Oregon; Portland Adventist Hospital Home Health in Portland, Oregon; and Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital where Judy was Director of Home Health and Hospice and later Hospital Assistant Administrator.

Judy loved bird watching. She backpacked from Astoria to Tillamook. She liked car shows and ball games. She traveled to the Holy Land, Germany, Alaska, Hawaii, Panama Canal, Switzerland, Hong Kong and China.

Judy served the Lord for 30 years as head elder at the Hamilton Seventh-day Adventist Church. She loved serving the Lord and having groups come to her home and study the Bible.

She was preceded in death by her father, David W. Fowler, and mother, Mildred C. Wend Fowler.

A celebration of Judy’s life was held Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2019 at the Hamilton Seventh-day Adventist Church with Pastor Bill Whitney officiating. Urn placement took place at Corvallis Cemetery.
