God's Mighty Work in Spokane Valley

By Yonisbel Osoria, September 15, 2021

We at the Spokane Valley Hispanic Church organized our week of evangelism around small groups that met each week to study the Bible, pray and fellowship together. It was a beautiful experience for everyone.

The group leaders, together with their team, participated actively in the preparation of the campaign. They invited their friends, families and acquaintances to their groups. We studied the Bible with 14 youth and adults. Eleven of them subsequently made decisions for baptism.

A few stories stand out. One student, a 15-year-old girl, decided to be baptized after the week of studies. Her testimony and missionary work led her nine-year-old sister and 13-year-old brother to make their decision and get baptized as well. Twin brothers, Justin and Ethan, also decided to give themselves to Jesus after studying the Bible with one of our small group leaders.

All of these studies took place during the pandemic. God continued miraculous work in the lives of our young people who are now baptized and actively serving in the music and communication ministries.

We are still studying the Bible with some parents of the young people, who have not yet been baptized. We pray that they too will make their decision very soon. God continues to work mightily in our Spokane Hispanic churches.
